Addiction Medicine Blog
Provide YOUR Words of Advice
Ever felt like this flower? Wilted, sucked dry of energy, hopeless? Here at Creekside we have seen many different patients from all different walks of life, but there is no doubt that at some point in time you have felt like this. Wether it was during your treatment or before, the majority of you have felt feelings of hopelessness and isolation.
What helped you get through this? What kinds of things do you wish you would have done different through your treatment? What may you wish you would have known before you started using opiates or alcohol?
Many people need encouragement before, during and after treatment. We are hoping this blog can be a source of that encouragement. What better place to get advice on addiction than from people that have already been there? So to those of you who have gotten treatment for addiction, whether it be here at Creekside or another office, how about some words of Advice. Share your experiences, advice or words of hope for those who are thinking about treatment or in treatment now.
We are going to be blogging more often and will try to blog about things that my be of interest. But if you have something in particular that you would like the Doctor to address we would love to hear from you. If you feel you have nothing to contribute at this time, subscribe to these blogs so you at least stay updated on what's happening here at Creekside. Hope to hear from you all!
